OUR AUSSIE MILIONS EXPERIENCE 2010

Sandy and I sat down to play the Main Even at 12.30 pm in flight 2 Monday.

Sandy had a unlucky table draw which saw her out early with a super bad beat on the river a Donk  called her trip 7’s  with 2,3 off suit on the hope of a straight and got it.

I bagged my chips $12,800 at 1.45am that’s 13 hrs of poker -- I am tired --  go to bed but can’t sleep – head full of poker hands.

I made it to Day 2 and sat down at 12.30 pm with a field of 243 players out of 675 starters

I drew table 14 seat 7 which happened to be to the left of Obrestad  “sweet little cow” she took me out 2.20pm.

Dani Stern into Round Three

We just caught up with Dani Stern who played a rather quick match against Sandra Retallick.

Stern won 2-0. He said in the first rubber of the match he raised the button with
and Sandy Retallick flat called. The flop came and Sandy check-raised all in with . The board bricked to take Stern into a 1-0 lead.

The second rubber Sandy ran
into Stern's preflop and wasn't able to catch up.

Amazingly Sandra Retallick has completed two matches in the time it has taken Gary Retallick to finish one rubber against Michael Watson.

Woods Whacks Gary Retallick

The Gary Retallick second round curse looks alive and well after Darren Woods took all but 150 of Gary Retallick's stack on just the second hand of their game.
Retallick now faces a huge battle to not go behind 1-0 against Woods.

Not Giving In Yet

Gary Retallick has doubled through three times. He's not yet back in business, but he is starting to make Woods think that the first rubber is not done yet.

Darren Woods leads Gary Retallick 1-0. They are pretty even in the second rubber.

Retallick Looking to Rally

Gary Retallick is looking to get back into the match against Darren Woods.

Retallick doubled through after limping in and taking a
flop. Woods fired out 1,000, enough to set Retallick all in.

With a "Let's see how we go here," Retallick made the call with
. He was acutlly ahead with Woods tabling for an open ender.

The
hit the turn, and the river was the making a flush for Retallick.

He's back to around 2,000 chips at the moment. That means that Woods has about 8,000.

It was not reported what took me out and I can’t remember either but it was pretty late and I had just been knocked out of the main even --- then play 2 matches of 3 rubbers heads up --- I was finished --- wow.

Back to Adelaide to play in the ANZPT next week may be a little wiser.
